Chartered accounting is one of the most popular professions for commerce and non-commerce students after class 12 as well. All CA Exam is administered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a national professional accounting body. In India, the Chartered Accountancy profession is governed by this regulatory organisation. To become a CA, students must pass all three levels of the CA exam: CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, and CA Final.
What is CA Intermediate?
The second level of the Chartered Accountancy programme in India is the CA Intermediate exam. In the nine months given for study, a student is expected to finish eight subjects and more than 7000 pages of readings.
The group structure, which consists of four subjects in each group and requires passing all four tests in order to pass the group, is what makes this exam even more challenging.
It should be noted that the average passing rate from 2010 to 2020 was only 16.76%, meaning that only 4 out of every 25 candidates passed the test. However, the lowest passing rate for the November 2018 Chartered Accountancy Course in India was only 8.88%.
Eligibility
Students can register for the CA Intermediate after passing the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) or the CA Foundation Course. Instead of taking the entry-level exams, graduates, postgraduates, or students with similar degrees can register directly for the CA Intermediate test.
Test model
Four papers will be entirely subjective, and the remaining four subjects will be a combination of subjective and objective exams (70:30). 800 points are distributed across two groups and eight subjects. Following are the subjects:

Students must receive a minimum of 40% on each paper and a total of 50% on all of their assignments. A student may participate in one group or both groups simultaneously.
