The Company Secretary (CS) course is designed for individuals aspiring to specialize in corporate governance, company law, and secretarial practices. A qualified Company Secretary ensures that an organization operates within legal and regulatory frameworks, acts as a compliance officer, and advises the board on good governance practices.

CSEET
Eligibility:
10+2 (or equivalent) pass students are eligible to appear.
Graduates/postgraduates in any stream may get exemptions but must check the latest ICSI guidelines.

- Economic and Business Environment
- Current Affairs and Presentation &
- Communication Skills
Passing CSEET is a prerequisite to register for the CS Executive level (unless exempted by virtue of certain educational qualifications).
CS Executive
Eligibility: Successful completion of CSEET (or equivalent exemption criteria).
Exam Structure:
Group I:
- Jurisprudence, Interpretation &
- General Laws (JIGL)
- Company Law
- Setting up of Business Entities and
- Closure
- Corporate Accounting & Management Accounting
Group II:
- Capital Markets & Securities Laws
- Economic, Commercial & Intellectual
- Property Laws
- Tax Laws & Practice
Examinations:
Conducted twice a year (June and December).
Students can appear for one group at a time or both groups together.
CS Professional
Eligibility:
Successful completion of both groups of CS Executive.
Exam Structure: Divided into two groups
Group I:
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
Drafting, Pleadings and Appearances

Group II:

4.1. CSR & Social Governance
4.2. Internal and Forensic Audit
4.3. Intellectual Property Rights – Law & Practice

5. Strategic Management & Corporate Finance
6. Corporate Restructuring, Valuation and Insolvency
7. Elective (anyone)
7.1. Arbitration, Mediation & Conciliation
7.2. Goods and Services Tax (GST) & Corporate
7.3. Labour Laws & Practice
7.4. Banking & Insurance – Laws & Practice
7.5. Insolvency and Bankruptcy – Law & Practice
Examinations:
Conducted twice a year (June and December).
Students can appear for one group at a time or multiple groups together as per ICSI guidelines.
Upon clearing both groups of the CS Professional exam and fulfilling the training requirements, you become eligible to apply for membership at ICSI, thus earning the designation of Company Secretary.
